Landmark secured the purchase of an empty two level building located on 845 m2 of land in October 1996. Landmark's development scheme was to renovate this abandoned spice facility into a modern warehouse storing textiles/goods on the ground floor and on the first floor a showroom displaying goods and office space for company's staff.
Despite years of neglect, the 90-year-old building was in relative good condition and so it was determined to reconstruct the building. Plans and documents were submitted for zoning and construction approval, which was granted within three months. Reconstruction started immediately with occupancy occurring in November 1997. The graceful industrial architectural character of the building was maintained and stands as an excellent example of the Holešovice's past.
